I’m never really sure whether to use the mangaka’s incorrect translation of the title of their work. This one is pretty clunky, so when I post, I’m going to use the Japanese title. But if I were to give this series an English title, I would use “A Bedtime Story for the Sleepless King”. I just found out that this series ends at chapter 4. I was hoping that it would last longer as the mystery unfolds. I hope the end isn’t rushed. “Kanojo ni Naru Hi” and “Kanojo ni Naru Hi — Another” will be releasing in Japan and on this blog on alternating months. “Kanojo ni Naru Hi — Another” comes out next week in Japan and “Kanojo ni Naru Hi” comes out in November in Japan. Both are in separate bi-monthly magazines, so that’s how it works out. This chapter feels like a turning point in the story. Miyoshi and Mamiya are back! The story picks up with them a year after Mimaya came out of her cocoon again. At this point, Miyoshi and Mamiya are college students in their early 20’s. This series is a little more mature than the original series. I look forward to seeing where the series goes. New Short Series: "Danshi Gurashi" Chapter 1 by Mai Mishikata

We’ve been sitting on this short series for a while. We finally have a typesetter, so hopefully we can release the rest of the series soon. This series came out in Hana to Yume in 2013 before “Lip Smoke”. It reminds me of a modern day “The Odd Couple”. When I first saw this frontis page, I thought, “please let Sagara become the school bancho”. That would be cool! Maybe it’ll happen. Who knows. Anyhow, what does happen sets up for an interesting arc for the series as a whole. "Hanaibara" Epilogue

Here’s the short “Hanaibara” extra story that came after chapter 3. I got a good laugh out of this short, but I think it sums up where the story ended. I’ll miss these three. Maybe we’ll get lucky in the future and see a oneshot with these characters. It seems to happen all the time in Wings magazine. "Hanaibara" Chapter 3 (End)

This is the final chapter of the “Hanaibara” main story. We’ll release the short extra story tomorrow. I guess I really can’t discuss the chapter without spoiling, so I’ll write a comment in a day or so. Oh! There is also a oneshot called “Dirge” in the “Hanaibara” compilation.
