Thankyou again Omari sisters, I dont know what to say about this chapter it seems there is like 3 to 4 different plots occuring in this story and they are trying to fit to many different side plots in one story, seems almost the author is trying to push one dilemma on top of another without allowing the stuff to occur at its own pace, basically to much stuff going on that seem to a degree unrelated without proper background or development
it feels they are rushing alot of development and stuff so much stuff in individual chapters, i wish they would let somethign develop without introducing a different plot, issue at the same time, its getting confusing keeping up with all the angles the direction the story is moving into
Huh. The Dungeon crawling was not at all what I was picturing..lol I thought they were literally crawling around *sheepish laugh* Oh, well. Despite that it started to go off on two different plots, I still liked it!

@Anonymous — I didn't expect the islanders with the birds to come back. I thought that storyline was finished. But apparently, the birds have some role to play in this. Shirayuki in Tanburn…I'm not exactly sure what Shirayuki calls herself doing other than getting through the days until she can come home. She really shouldn't lead Prince Raji on. As for the pretty boy — meh…I did care last chapter, but since not much new was introduced, I'm caring less. I sorta feel like things are stalling and the author has lost control of the story. Hopefully, there is a point to all of this and in the end it will all nicely tie together.
@Tin – LOL! dungeon crawling means going to an adventure in a maze-like close structured place, either it is in a cave/castle/dungeon/desert or even a forest. Tons of games are within this type of genre.
Since no one caught the VERY OBVIOUS Zelda shout-out (which seems unintentional) in the chapter i don't think there are that much videogame players around here anyway…
Well, i don't kinda agree on what has been said above, the story really is at a crawl at this point and it needs stuff happening that will make it more interesting.
The different pace between these scenarios is what really seems to be the problem here, the stay at Tanburn seems rushed compared to the pretty-boy's plot, why not focus on just one prospective at a time?
Why did the author bring the bird people back? they served absolutely nothing in this chapter and she should just saved them for when the plot is in need of their help.
To me it seems the author is trying to make the plot thicker than it actually is by leaping through different scenarios at the same time, in a “man, i need to finish this quickly” pace.

I feel what everyone is saying about the plot- crawling through the dungeon was a bit silly. I had figured that Raji would have known his way around due to female escapades he had down there, demo mada no baka. I actually thought it was sweet that the islanders gave Shirayuki such pretty gifts (maybe I just like Popo)- plus it let us see Zen smile. =D
I really like the interaction between Obi and Shirayuki, and I loved when he mentioned she should visit the mountain and then they both smiled. I hope we get to see more “awww” moments like that, since I like Obi (and I believe in the canon pairing, so I should enjoy Obi moments while they last).
I do feel like the author is pulling at plot elements everywhere, almost like buying time. It's frustrating waiting months and months and still no resolution on the young pretty boy. I'm fairly certain he can't be a prince, since no prince would be allowed to wander around like he does. I can only hope he will actually bring some good to the story in the future.
Nonetheless, I always enjoy reading new chapters. I don't dislike any of the characters in AnS (and in many other manga, I do), so it's always a great read for me. Thank you so much for bringing it to us!

Hmm, I've been reading the other comments, and yeah, it seems like there are a lot of things going on..but I think maybe if we re-read from the beginning to now, maybe it won't be so confusing, and some things might match up? It's such a long wait between chapters, sometimes I forget what happened before xDD
Hmm, the only thing the bird people did was give Zen the walnut necklace to give to Shira..so maybe it'll be significant in the future?
The last few pages were really good pages for speculation..I wonder why they're after her..maybe Izana is involved somehow? He did say he wanted to test them…

Personally, I don't think the story as of now is confusing. It just feels like the mangaka is using all this stuff to stall. What really happened new in the story? As far as I can tell, we learned that Izana is testing Zen and Shirayuki — but hasn't he been doing that all along? The other stuff is all fluff. Plus, I'm peeved at 3 chapters and no clarity on the pretty boy. 3 chapters is 6 months oh, wait, let's not forget the 4 month hiatus! 8-months!!! UGH!!! That's completely ridiculous and manipulative and I resent it! …Anyhow, the next chapter better move the story along A LOT or I will be hella cheesed off…

This is anonymous the 2nd comment annoynmous, the one who said the different plot lines, well anyway I think this is leading to her being some princess or something from a far away land, the the author keeps point to the rarity of the red hair she has and the fact her only living relative her grandmother is dead, no details have been given to what occurred with her parents, This is my theory either her mother or father were commoners and one or the other was a royal, since her birth was out of marriage she was sent to live as a baby with her grandmother as to not interfere with that royal family that she is born from she being illegitmite. but now something has occurred in which that pretty boy may either be a messenger from the kingdom or relative and they want her back either she was sent away or went missing, the fact is the red hair is rare or non existent where she lives now meaning to the conclusion that she is not from those lands and was sent away for a reason as a baby to either protect or hide her.

There has barely been any development or fluff for us to survive off of… Even though, I'm in love with this manga, 8 months is really long – by the time it comes out, I would have forgotten what happened this chapter… It's not fair…I wonder why they need such a long hiatus…
