Here’s the first chapter of the new series “Pika Ichi” from the new Shoujo manga magazine “Aria.”
I like the art work and I like the two main characters and the supporting character, but I don’t know where the story is heading based upon this first chapter. Therefore, the decision of whether to take on this series will be made after reading the second chapter. I would like to know what you all think about this first chapter, so please leave some feedback to help us with our decision. If we do take this on, it will be a joint project with Hyper-Parfait and it will be released monthly after Ouran concludes at the end of September.

Next up is “Seirei Produce” chapter 4. It looks like we’ll be able to sneak this one in before the release of Lala DX 9 on August 10th. I want to get this done now so there isn’t such a long gap between chapters.

Woah, a VERY interesting series. We will have to see how it develops, though. But the plot was kinda different from the usual, it makes it more interesting C:

Thank you for the excellent scanlation! So far the story is interesting and going in what could be a really fun direction! I hope the second chapter cements it! I have to admit, I'm betting the makeover team up happens in a flashback next chapter since otherwise it's a bit abrupt? I dunno it's 2am but those are my thoughts!
This is definitely a series that I will be looking out for. It's off to a great start and already has potential to be good in just one chapter. I'm really looking forward to more of this.

I happy to see that so many people enjoyed chapter 1. Chapter 2 will determine whether we and Hyper-Parfait commit to this series. I hope that this series gives us something new, edgy, and sweet. I guess we'll see in a few weeks :).

Great first chapter!! There's so much potential in this so I'm definitely looking forward to ch2. xD Love the mangaka's use of double narratives throughout the chapter. The storyline is rather creative and interesting. A promising start!

This was an interesting introduction. For a shoujo manga, it was quite different from the first chapters I'm used to. I like the combination of the unusual storyline and of the classic shoujo art. I can't wait to read the next chapter to see how it develops.

I read the first chapter and I was like. The side-views look kind of like Maki Youko's art sometimes…
And after I finished ch. 1, I saw that it said it was a collab between two irl sisters.
That's so awesome! Maki Youko and her sister are working on this together? No wonder the story is so awesome!
