“Yurayura, Yureru” is my favorite oneshot of the oneshot we’ve done so far this year. The redraws and the typesetting were grueling, but I’m very pleased with the result. Thanks to Ichigo Stars and Silver Lunar for their help and patience with these redraws. I also had a great time translating this oneshot. Anyhow, this is a oneshot that I consider to be shoujo at its best. I hope you all enjoy it! And for folks who are frying in the late-summer heat like I am, I hope the watery imagery cools you off.

This might be one of my favorite oneshots this year as well. I typically don’t too well with Halloween. xD
It was hot as blazes a few days ago. It’s been raining the past two days, which helped to cool the air down. But I’m always in the mood for watery imagery, even more so since watching Free!. Haha.
What does “Yurayura, Yureru” mean? The alliteration is captivating.

It’s Japanese onomatopoeia for swaying — so something like “gently bobbing along, swaying”. I left it in Japanese because I that sounds kinda ??? in English. IDK… I couldn’t find any English that satisfied me enough to give it an English title.

I quickly read through the first three chapters of “Boku ni Hana Melancholy”, while the male character design is appealing, it’s too melodramatic and humorless for me to get into and stick with long term. I imagine one of the groups that does that kind of shoujo will take this series on, though good luck keeping up with the twice a month release schedule! Yikes!
