Here’s a short summary of the story from our partner on this project: Jiru and Vahlia were engaged. But Jiru suddenly went missing! Four years later, Vahlia was betrothed to another man. During the night of the celebration of her second engagement, Vahlia decides to go on a journey…. in search of Jiru! Here is the second of our winter one-shots, “Kare to Kanojo no Futomin” or “His and Her Sleepless Winter”. I really like this story and I wish I saved it for Valentine’s Day, because I don’t think the one-shot I’ve selected can compare in sweetness and romance. I guess we’ll have to wait and see :). “Ginrou no Sakura” has a completely different set of “charm points” and will appeal for different reasons than this one-shot. Here is the one-shot “Nemurenu Kishi ni Hanataba wo” (“Bouquets of Flowers for the Sleepless Knight”). This story and the characters seem very inline with Yumi Kiiro’s current series “Library Wars: Love and War.” Both characters are strong and likable and the story is a good mix of humor, romance and adventure. I hope you enjoy this short story as much as I did. We’re slowly slogging through “Nemurenu Kishi ni Hanataba wo” so I figured to get to folks interested, I’ve post a short preview of the story. The first part is mostly humorous, but the ending might induce a few tears. Anyhow…this isn’t the final version and there maybe typos, but here you go: This is a tough one-shot to clean and edit, so it will take a bit longer to complete than most of our releases.
