It’s the second to last chapter!!!  W00t!!!! The final chapter will release tomorrow. In this chapter we learn more about Renjirou’s motivations. I feel bad for him, but at the same time, sometimes there people who try to put a person on the right track despite their desire to continue down the wrong one. We also get to the bottom of Imose’s fear of women.  It’s so sad… yes, people, boys and men can be raped by women. Imose’s doing the best he can. Now he has friends :). This chapter finally explains what’s going on. I’m so happy this series explains the world it has created rather than it being forever enigmatic or complete nonsense. We also start to see Akatsuki’s motivations. A note on pronunciation: Akatsuki’s sister name is pronounced “June-nay”. She’s quite a little pistol! But her heart is in the right place, so I like her. It’s been a little more than six months since the last release of this series. I apologize for the delay.  We’ve decided to concentrate on finishing the series now, so it’s the only series I’m working on right now.  There four more chapters left after this, and we expect to complete the series in about two weeks. Having read the final chapter (chapter 3), I’d say this series is better than I expected. I really like Nijouin. The girl, whats-her-face, is just there, but Nijouin gets much love. This was a particularly difficult chapter for me to translate because I’m very softhearted. This chapter is rather daring for shoujo, and I’m glad Kanno is not shying away from the reality of the time period. I feel at this point I should remind readers that this is a shoujo re-imagining of Shakespeare’s Henry VI and Richard III tetrad. The flow of the series follows Shakespeare’s play and European history, but the details of this story are different.
