2014 Series and Oneshot Stats Summary

I’ll keep this simple by displaying two charts. I don’t want to give exact numbers, so I normalized the data. There are no surprises about the top series. “Risou no Kareshitachi” was surprisingly the hit oneshot of last year. While being the most popular, this is also the oneshot that I received the most email expressing displeasure about. The least read oneshots were all of the ones released for Halloween, with “The Doll Friend” stories filling the bottom.  I’m not sure what to make of this given the popularity of “Risou Kareshitachi”. I think the only influence that this data … Continue reading 2014 Series and Oneshot Stats Summary

Crimson Flower 2014 Oneshot/Short Series Stats

I decided to take a look at the performance of our Valentine’s Day oneshots and the other oneshots and short series we’ve completed this year. I’ll just publish the numbers here now, since I haven’t made any sense of what the numbers mean. I’m not really sure whether I can. The readership is normalized against “Risou no Kareshitachi” which had the highest readership. Risou no Kareshitachi — 1.00 Hajimari wa Suna no Ichiya — .8 Lip Smoke — .72 Risou no Ouji no Tsurikata — .45 Ringo no Asobikata — .43 Tobenai Washi — .4 Kuma-san to Issho — .34 … Continue reading Crimson Flower 2014 Oneshot/Short Series Stats

June Statistics and July Announcements!

I went and checked the stats from Google Analytics rather than the Blogger stats, and WHOA! Our anniversary oneshot party was very successful! We had readership exceeding the height of Ouran, AnS, and J + K triple whammie!  Actually, it was our best month EVER! The “Lovely Vampire Weddings” compilation was incredibly popular.  Your voices have been heard and I enjoy stories like that, so we will be bringing you more from that publishing line starting this fall! We will also be bringing you more Nao Tsukiji starting in August. And we will now resume releasing oneshots regularly.  If I … Continue reading June Statistics and July Announcements!

I’d like to welcome some new members to the Omari’s Sister team:Akire Shiro: Cleaner — She’s been working on a lot future releases, so her name will be popping up in the credit A LOT very soon. Julia:  Cleaner/Redraw Artist — She’s been helping with the cleaning and the redrawing on the Vampire Wedding oneshot trio. She’s quite skilled. … Continue reading Statistics! December Plans, Winter Break Recruitment, and November Stats

December is going to be much sparser than I planned.  The mature josei oneshot for Bakeneko’s Lair is going to 3 weeks to complete and there’s the craziness of the holidays.  So expect the next chapter of Magnolia to be the only release on Omari’s Sister.  If we’re lucky, I might be able to eek out something else. But! Do not feel sad, because January and February will be glorious. While I’m working on the josei oneshot, the rest of the group and our temps will be lending us part of their winter breaks to work on winter releases :). … Continue reading December Plans, Winter Break Recruitment, and November Stats
