I’ll keep this simple by displaying two charts. I don’t want to give exact numbers, so I normalized the data. There are no surprises about the top series. “Risou no Kareshitachi” was surprisingly the hit oneshot of last year. While being the most popular, this is also the oneshot that I received the most email expressing displeasure about. The least read oneshots were all of the ones released for Halloween, with “The Doll Friend” stories filling the bottom. I’m not sure what to make of this given the popularity of “Risou Kareshitachi”. I decided to take a look at the performance of our Valentine’s Day oneshots and the other oneshots and short series we’ve completed this year. I’ll just publish the numbers here now, since I haven’t made any sense of what the numbers mean. I’m not really sure whether I can. I went and checked the stats from Google Analytics rather than the Blogger stats, and WHOA! Our anniversary oneshot party was very successful! We had readership exceeding the height of Ouran, AnS, and J + K triple whammie! Actually, it was our best month EVER! The “Lovely Vampire Weddings” compilation was incredibly popular. December is going to be much sparser than I planned. The mature josei oneshot for Bakeneko’s Lair is going to 3 weeks to complete and there’s the craziness of the holidays. So expect the next chapter of Magnolia to be the only release on Omari’s Sister. If we’re lucky, I might be able to eek out something else. But!
