I got so caught up in the story I was a baaaad proofreader. [hangs head] Anyway… why are there such long gaps for Ouran? I've never seen what the publishing schedule is.
@Corgi — Hatori-sensei is taking a break and planning the ending chapter/s or Ouran. There is supposed to be an announcement at the end of June in Lala issue 8 about the ending of Ouran. I'm waiting until that announcement, rather than speculating further on the ending of Ouran.
in June announced it will give a more or less what they will come to Ouran is still unclear and is not very sure Ouran maybe finish in 81 runs in Volume 18

Basically it says:
“With various things, starting in September is the end chapter/book (the wording here is kinda of ambiguous). I can definitely say when I began it was quite overwhelming so thanks for hanging in there with me (or something like that). I'm really sorry to make you wait 3 months, but from here it will fly (maybe from her perspective the time will fly by). In Host Club fashion it will be Super-High Tension and exciting to the end. So just wait a little more.

That last little part I can't really make heads or tails of. Literally it says: Underwater, I am entering a long ago battle. I wonder what is waiting!!

So I can't really say whether chapter 81 is the last chapter or the beginning of the end that will span more than one chapter. We'll have to wait and see.
