The Ouran raw delay gave me time to finish “Orange Chocolate” chapter 17. Looking forward, it seems that the whole body-swapping gimmick has been dropped  or forgotten.  We’ll have to see where this goes, but it seems after the next two chapters, “Orange Chocolate” degenerates into a typical high school comedy romance complete with a pointless love-triangle and what appears to a sports festival starting in chapter 21 (???)– UGH-WTH!!!.  This is truly disappointing to me and stinks of the mangaka losing control of the story :(.  Hopefully, this is an indication that things are wrapping up soon before the … Continue reading Orange Chocolate Chapter 17

New Series: "Magnolia" Chapter 1

Here it is! Magnolia! There’s so much good stuff coming from Aria magazine! It so hard to choose which ones to do. I think, though, looking at the upcoming schedule, until another series ends, we can only do 3 of the 4 series from Aria that we’ve trialed. My current thought is to put off “Iiki no Ki” until the schedule loosens up. Let me know what you think. Finally, a real vampire!  Hopefully, this series won’t go rambling off into the weeds and thicket like “Vampire Knight.”  I like the two main characters in this series and the artwork is a real pleasure to edit.  As I said in the teaser, I will continue translating this series. Not much progress is made in this chapter but the second half of the chapter contains some gorgeous artwork. Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen Chapter 18

Here it is!  “Zetta Heiwa Daisakusen” chapter 18!  This is the second to last chapter.  The final chapter releases in Japanese on October 9th and will be a whopping 50-pages!  I’m very excited for it and I’m hoping for a satisfying ending.
