April 2011 at Omari’s Sister

Take a good look at the cover of this month’s Aria magazine.  It’s so pretty! I’m gonna call March over two days ahead because the next two days I will not be doing much manga-wise.  It’s ;p and at the same time. Hahaha!  Darned that real life of mine! First an announcement for “Junketsu + Kareshi” fans, of which I know there are many of you and I know initially this is going to upset you…but I’m doing what’s best for the sake of the story’s continuity and everyone’s sanity (including my own).  Shouoto-sensei is taking a month off, … Continue reading April 2011 at Omari’s Sister

March At Omari’s Sister

Phew!  February was fast and furious!  I hope all of you had a great Valentine’s Day filled with candy and fun.  I’d like to thank all of the Omari’s Sister volunteers for a highly productive month and for all their hard work.  We’ve really stepped up our game and I’m proud that we’ve been able to produce some gorgeous releases :).  Cookies for everyone! Onto March! I completed my jury duty service.  I wasn’t selected for a jury, but still it was a worthwhile experience and I’m proud to do my service as a US citizen. I received Aria 4 … Continue reading March At Omari’s Sister

From now on, all comments with inquiries about release dates will be rejected.  There is a detailed release schedule page on this blog to look at if you want to know when releases will occur.  The link is here or near the top of the first column of the right side panel on this blog. Note: The release dates at the end of manga are the dates the manga comes out in Japanese and not English. Announcement: The Big Spring One-Shot!

Our Big Spring one-shot will be “Nanairo no Mukou” (“The Other Side of the Rainbow”) by Sora Kakeru.  It’s a fantasy story in which a boy finds himself in a world without adults beyond the rainbow.  There’s a magical fan, a dragon, rainbows, flowers, demons, a miko, action, and a little romance.  There’s no unicorns, though.  A unicorn would be epic! Ah…springtime and childhood fantasies.  I hope this is a story that adults and children will both like and I hope it’s something some of the parents who read this blog can share with their children :).  We are aiming … Continue reading Announcement: The Big Spring One-Shot!

February at Omari’s Sister

Series: Magnolia Chp 7 (Done) Junketsu + Kareshi Chp 7 (Almost Done) Yukarism Chp 2 Series Debut: The Ghost Apartment Manager (Yuurei Apaato Kanrinin) Chp 1 Zoo Chp 3 One-Shot: Valentine’s Special One-shot:  Ginrou no Sakura … Continue reading February at Omari’s Sister

December at Omari’s Sister

November went better than expected :).  We managed to put out some great releases and spent a lot time spinning our wheels on Pika Ichi. Onto December!  Our wonderful cleaner Silver Lunar is taking a break, so I decided to recruit some more people to fill in and to help out in the future.  I’ve decided to stretch my project management skills by taking on more people so we can get the work planned done.  We’ll see how this goes…I pray my head doesn’t explode. There is too much good stuff out there and it frustrates me because we can’t … Continue reading December at Omari’s Sister

"Folklore Reindeer" Postponed

We will not be doing “Folklore Reindeer” at this time.  It’s very challenging to clean and it will swamp us, keeping us from being able to work on other projects. I think what’s best is to release “Folklore Reindeer” with its companion one-shot “Allegoria Lion” sometime later in 2011.  It will be something we’ll work on in the background for now.
