Announcement: "Pochamani" Volume 2 Tankoubon Coming out After March

Much to my disappointment, “Pochamani” Volume 2 isn’t coming out in March, which moves the soonest it could come out to April. New Series will be Pushed Back

I have decided to change plans on starting new series in January.  Many of the series we are working already had definite endings,  recently came to an end or have announced that they are ending soon.  Here is the list: Ojousama no Untenshu (3 chapters left) Fushigi no Maria-kun (4 chapters left) Detarame Mousouryoku Opera (1 chapter left) Kemono Kingdom Zoo (~10 chapters left) Ore to Atashi no Kareshisama (10-chapters left) Rex Fabula (14-chapters left) Furou Kyoudai (4-chapters left) In combination with that, series we thought were short have been extended.  This is the case with “Pochamani” and we anticipate … Continue reading New Series will be Pushed Back

Changes to the November and December Schedule

First of all, some of our October oneshots may spill into November due typesetter’s schedules (I didn’t give them enough leadtime). We’ll do our best, but I wouldn’t dream of interfering with any of our typesetters’ school lives. Hooray! Now that we’ve gotten and are currently getting ourselves from underneath some series, we can start using our resources on some new series. New Series Poll Results

Here are the results from the new series poll I ran last week.  I will announce the new series tomorrow.  As a hint, because I cannot gain support from key members of the group, we will not be doing the historical gender-bender romance at this time.  We will, though do the Shoujo Sci-fi series, The Biker turned pastry chef series, the super natural high school romance (only 3 chapters), and the Gag Manga.  My thoughts in choosing these series were: Give the people what they want unless there’s strong opposition from the group. Favorite Water Themed One-Shot Poll Results

Here are the results of the favorite August one-shot poll. I’m kinda surprised that “Over the Blue” was so popular.  I wasn’t expecting such a big spread between the top 3 picks and I was expecting better performance for “Summer Blue” and “Kaizokuhime.”  The bottom two, I’m not surprised about at all.  Anyhow, this is good data and gives me some clues about what kinds of manga readers like.  I think I have an idea of what readers aren’t big fans of, but I also see in this particular poll, my favorite “Summer Blue” wasn’t a top pick.  Hahaha!  It … Continue reading Favorite Water Themed One-Shot Poll Results
