Here is our third spooky one-shot from Kuro Lala.  I’d categorize this one-shot as campy horror.  It’s surprising gory for something carrying the Lala brand. Kuro Lala One-Shot: "Girl on a Platter" by Meca Tanaka

This one-shot is in line with “World End Garden” and “Ryuu no Moriuta“.  It’s shorter than either one-shot, but I feel that this one-shot is better than “Ryuu no Moriuta” because the main female character, Tsubame, is much more likable.  (“World End Garden remains my favorite one-shot.) Fall Supernatural One-Shot: "Kamisama no Sonata"

Kuro Lala and Fall Spooky One-Shots Announcements!

Kuro Lala has arrived!   We and TZA have been working on this one-shot for months!  I was beginning to think we’d never get this one out ;p.  But, yay!  We’re finally done! We were planning this one-shot to kick off our fall spooky tales, but I suppose this isn’t all that spooky even though the main male character is a demon.  In hindsight, this is more of a late winter/early spring kinda one-shot given the theme of rebirth.  Anyhow…we’re doing it now…so yay! One-shot: "The Honeybee Earl and the Flower Dress"

  I readily admit that this one-shot is a beyond cliched Cinderella story (the title page pretty much tells the entire story), but it’s done extremely well so all is forgiven.  Actually, I enjoyed this one-shot A LOT.  It filled the hole for a good summer romance comedy (damn you, Hollywood, make us some good summer movies!).  Anyhow, there are no surprises here and it all ends with the lovely little bow, as it should.  Yes, it’s perfect for the June wedding season :).
