I have the sinking feeling that this chapter is going to piss a lot of people off. It’s well worn shoujo territory and there are lots of folk who read OS who are opposed to student/teacher relationships, including myself. We’re finally done with another Bisco Hatori marathon!  I’d like to thank Amrai for helping me with some of the details of the translation.  I also want to give thanks to Ichigo Stars to suffering through some of the tougher redraws. Magnolia Chapter 23

For those of you who hate Hugo, this chapter is going to suck. I love Hugo, so I thought this was a very romantic chapter. Hahaha! Unfortunately, we are left at the end with a nasty cliff hanger and the cruel news that the mangaka are skipping the next issue in order to collect material to continue the series.  But! This is our first Omari’s Sister release of “Rex Fabula”!  A little warning about this chapter: the monsters in this series run around naked and have human breasts. It’s a weird artist choice, but I didn’t think it was indecent because there is nothing sexual about them.  It’s distracting at first, but you’ll get used it. This chapter is pretty intense psychologically and action-wise.  We get to see Hamare in action as he figures out what his weapon is and how to use it. "Fushigi no Maria-kun" Chapter 5

We are now on the second volume of “Fushigi no Maria-kun”!  There are nine chapters total in this series. Hopefully we’ll be able to finish it before the end of the year.  Haha! This is truly a challenging series. The redraws, translation, and typesetting are all horrendous.  But I think it’s worth it. This story is very heartwarming and Shiina Dai’s dialog is always a treat to translate.
